Wood Shop Supreme
There are no pre-req for this class. During this class we will build one side of a picture frame using some of the more advanced tools.
Taking a standard stock piece of hardwood, we will use the joiner to obtain a flat side, the plainer to get a defined thickness, the router to obtain a wood profile and the drum sander to obtain a smooth finish. The goal of the class is to create a profiled board from which to create a picture frame.
Please watch these videos and read the articles linked in this handout before the class to gain the basics of these tools. During the class we will go over some the tips and tricks for our tools and get hands-on experience.
