Course Number: Glass 101
Course Description:
- Come learn the art of Flameworking!
- This is the 1st part of a 2 part series to get you certified to use the tools in the Glass bay and have you making fun and beautiful glass creations in no time.

Course Description:

Wood Shop Introduction
Course Number: Woods 101
Course Description:
- Get oriented with the wood shop, and get checked out with five common tools:
- Drill press
- Compound miter saw
- Band saw
- Belt sander
- Panel saw
- We will also discuss the dust collector, and shop safety and procedures.

Wood Shop Supreme
Course Number: Woods 201
Course Description:
- During this class we will build a picture frame using some of the more advance tools.
- Taking a standard stock piece of hardwood, we will use the joiner to obtain a flat side, the plainer to get a defined thickness, the router to obtain a wood profile and the drum sander to obtain a smooth finish. The goal of the class is to create a profiled board from which to create a picture frame.
- Please watch these videos and read the articles linked in this handout before the class to gain the basics of these tools. During the class we will go over some the tips and tricks for our tools and get hands-on experience.
